Great colorant for ponds. My small homemade pond for the longest time had an ugly hue to it. the soil in and around the pond, the constant unwanted plant growth, lighting, anything and everything contributed to its unimpressive look. I started looking up colorants for ponds. The most common was blue, but I wasn't trying to make my pond look like a nice lake. I just wanted the water look pleasing to the eye. When I found this, I wasn't sure about adding black colorant to my pond. I was worried it would look like an oil spill, not a pond. I did some research and found out that a lot of golf courses used black colorant. So I bought this and tried it out. It turned out great the black dye makes the water look more reflective, while obscuring the ground. It helped hide the ugly color of the soil, and made it much more pleasing to look at. On a day with no wind, my pond surface genuinely looked like black glass. It is a fantastic look
