I am loving this design! Very convenient to not have to worry about anchoring the station and the quantity discount makes this product a great purchase. I have experienced that just putting custom weight on top of traps tends to go wrong from environmental reasons, be it wind, larger animals, etc. Also, I've broken quite a few traps that just couldn't take the weight and caved in on itself. So the convenience is really appreciated.

This is probably the best outdoor bait station I've ever used. Most stations need some kind of object to be used as an anchor or weight. But this one has a built in weight to hold this down. It comes with a concrete block already inside that fitted for this station. While this means that you won't be moving these all that often, you will be assured that there's no way that you'll lose track of them. But the best part of these stations is the money you'll be saving. No need to buy a fancy anchor system, or even Protecta's own station base. This thing will hold its ground by itself. Now you might be saying, you can just use a brick or your own concrete block, but those aren't very good ways to weigh down your station as I've learned. Bricks are too light, you'll need a bunch of them to properly secure it. Concrete blocks are too heavy and too bulky. Most of all, reapplying baits is a pain when you go with the cheap option. This has the block situated at the very bottom of the station, so you'll never have to deal with the weight while maintaining your stations. Use these for your outdoor rat and mice control. This is the best.
