Works great! You need to use a surfactant with this or it won't work.
It states that in the instructions. I added a bit more than suggested just to be sure I used enough.

I used to have a 1/2 acre of giant bamboo. I cut each bamboo off close to the ground. Every time a shoot comes up in the spring, I kick it over and put two drops of straight Imazapyr on the stump. This must be done immediately, so I have an eye dropper full of the killer ready to go. Don't spray the bamboo leaves, as you will kill all trees in your yard and the neighbors yard as well. Imazapyr will cause the trees to not leaf out in the spring, so when the neighbor is wondering what happened, plead ignorance. I have tried Roundup, and 24D. Nothing works except this stuff.
