Great bee farm protection! I've used helmet versions before, because I didn't want to spend money on both a veil and a hat that holds it up. Helmets kill two birds with one stone, but the thing is they don't work that well. Either they give great protection, but it is very cumbersome to wear, or they are easy to put on, but don't give enough space between my face and the veil. This veil is dependent on a separate hat, and while I didn't want to spend money on two different things, I didn't want to try another helmet after repeat failures. The brim of the hat provides ample air space between my face and the veil, which is to be expected. But the great thing is that the veil gives great coverage all over my head, and it's easy to put on and take off. The veil also is very lightweight and it doesn't make me feel all clumsy. This is a great choice for bee protection.
