I needed a fertilizer that was high nitrogen, had just enough potassium and very little in phosphorus. This fertilizer was very close to the percentages I wanted and decided to go with this. I did 2 applications of the fertilizer, once in early spring and once more during the summer. My grass looked wonderful for most of the year as a result. Be patient with this one though. It took a long while, about a month, before I started noticing results. So don't waste money on another bag of fertilizer just because you don't see anything within a week or two.
