1 ~ 2 times application per year is enough for manintenance turf and ornamentals.
This is not water soluble.

TURFGRASS: 5.3 ~ 10.5 lb per 1,000 sq.ft. (recommended rate: 7.9 lb per 1,000 sq.ft)
PREPLANT: Broadcast 10 lbs per 1,000 sq.ft. and work into top 1 to 2 inches of soil.
ORNAMENTAL, FRUIT & CITRUS TREES: PREPLANT: Apply 1 pound per gallon-sized container or wrapped ball. Mix with backfill. Bare root trees, apply ½ lb. in the planting hole, mix and backfill.
MAINTENANCE: Apply ½ lb. for each one inch of trunk diameter around the dripline.
NURSERY CONTAINER GROWN PLANTS: SOIL MIX: Add 2-4 lbs.per cubic yard of soil.
MAINTENANCE: Apply ½ teaspoon per 4 inch pot 1 teaspoon per 6 inch pot.
